VALERIE FOSTER (nee FABIAN) 1930-2008 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved mother, Valerie Foster, on Friday, September 5, 2008. She is survived by her daughters Debbie (Al Rushton) and Dianne, as well as her great nephew Joseph Fabian Jr. and family, and great niece Debbie Fabian both of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. She was predeceased by her loving husband Jim in 2002, her parents Joseph and Katie Fabian and her infant sister Antoinette. Mom was blessed with love her whole life. Friends, family and neighbours will hold her memory close to their hearts. She will be missed riding her bike, doing her church and senior club activities as well as playing the slots. At Val's request cremation has taken place and a private graveside service has been held. Donations in her memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. I'm Free I'm following the path that God has laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call; I closed my eyes and left it all. I could not stay another day; To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way; I found that place on that special day. If my parting has left a void; Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss. Ah yes, these things I too will miss. My life's been full, I've savoured much, Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seems all to brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free! The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.J.
